Why the Trustees Should not Vote

Please find the letter submitted on behalf of the CAG for the 4/08.21 meeting on why it is not appropriate for the Trustees to vote on the development.

"We urge the Township Trustees to reject the Application. First, the Application fails to meet the criteria of the Township’s Zoning Resolution, and accordingly should be denied, or, in the alternative, conditions should be imposed to account for deficiencies. Second, both prudence and the Ohio Sunshine Law counsel against taking any final action on the Application at the April 8, 2021 meeting. Finally, the Board should defer taking action on the Application pending clarification of the ethical obligations of the Trustees in light of the pecuniary interest of Trustee Berry in the Application....."
